Can anyone buy the furniture?
Yes on the provision we don't think that the service is being taken advantage of (e.g. buying to re sell etc).
How do I see what you have available?
Please look at our Facebook page: www.facebook.nfskent
We regularly update this page with new items of furniture. Or, pop down to our warehouse in Sittingbourne where items can be viewed.
Do you take credit cards?
Not at the moment, but we’ll be reviewing this later in 2016.
How can I donate my furniture?
We collect items free of charge -though we do ask if you'd be willing to make a small cash donation, to cover the cost of fuel. Donations are voluntary and don't effect the service offered.
We're happy to accept your furniture donations on their own.
We always have a high demand for:
- Sofas / 3 pieces
- Beds / single and double
- Chests of draws
- Electric cookers
- Washing machines
- Fridge / Freezers
Items need to be in a reasonable condition and meet certain criteria. Soft furnishings must carry a fire safety label in accordance with the 1988 Fire Safety Regulations. Please contact the Neighbourhood Store to discuss in more detail. Items will not be collected if they don't meet our safety criteria.
