All our shared ownership homes are sold on a leasehold basis. The lease is a legal contract between you and us. As a shared owner, you own a part of your home; however, we treat you as a full owner.

That means you pay all the costs of living in and maintaining your home. Our leasehold properties are managed by the Home Ownership team. Our staff are happy to assist you with any queries about the day-to-day management of your home, rents and service charges, repairs and maintenance, improvements and communal repairs or the terms of your lease agreement.

  In our drive to provide better services, we've reorganised our Home Ownership Department to deliver promises we've made. Here's a summary of the changes. We've created a Home Ownership Services Team. There's 2 parts to this team: Sales and Customer service. You told us we could communicate better; the Customer Service Team will lead on this. They'll help the department keep in touch with you. They'll develop opportunities to be involved shaping the service you want. The Sales team remains the same. Sales help new purchasers buy a property and existing shared owners sell when they want to move.
