Swale Community Safety Partnership
The Swale Community Safety Unit (CSU) was set up in 2009 to tackle:
- Crime
- Disorder
- Antisocial behaviour (ASB)
- Substance misuse
- Re-offending.
Partners working together on the Swale Community Safety Unit include:
- AmicusHorizon's specialist ASB team
- The police
- Swale Borough Council
- Kent County Council
- The Probation service
- The local business safety partnership.
Our joined-up approach began with a ground-breaking agreement to work together under one roof.
We now all collect information in the same way and share it. We see the big picture and work together quickly to stamp out problems antisocial.
Incidents of ASB have fallen from 8421 in 2009 to 4258 in 2011. A fall of nearly 50%.
