Build Yourself project

Our brilliant Build Yourself project teaches DIY skills to those aged between 18 to 24.

It's a great chance to build their confidence and develop team skills. Participants are given guidance by a professional painter and decorator.

And there's even help and support to gain a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card for those interested in working as a labourer.

This project offers:
• Four fun DIY workshops to start with, learning skills like wallpapering and how to use power tools
• The chance to decorate a community venue or space (two mornings a week for five weeks).

Contact Lisa Buckland, Project Officer, to book a place and to find out about the next course, on 01424 776673 or 0800 121 60 60. Or text Build Yourself to 07815 575 753.

This project is funded by Comic Relief, Fresh Visions – the charity hosted and supported by AmicusHorizon - and Orbit Housing Association.
