  • Milestone reached in Regis Gate development!

    Chief Executive Paul Hackett has placed the final roof tile at our Regis Gate project! The Regis Gate Extra Care scheme is a large investment in older persons' housing in the Sittingbourne area. We're delivering 51 generously sized self contained homes for rent and shared ownership! The state of the art apartments will be fully accessible and equipped with the latest assistive technology.

  • Battle residents 'Get On' with successful training!

    12 participants have been presented with awards to mark their achievements on AmicusHorizon's 'Get On Plus' training programme, funded by the Big Lottery. Participants attended an event at Battle Memorial Hall to celebrate this successful course for local low waged and unemployed people. 'Get On Plus' provides practical training courses and workshops to help people build their confidence and skills to move into volunteering and paid work.

  • Over 800 people attend Momentum Youth Conference in Croydon!

    We teamed up with ten of London's leading social housing providers to deliver a major youth conference! Over 800 people attended the Momentum Youth Conference at Croydon's Fairfield Halls. The event aimed to showcase the talents of young people across the capital, including singers, dancers and comedians. The youth conference also included an educational side. A number of stalls were set up offering information and advice on employment, apprenticeships, volunteering and work experience opportunities.

    What are neighbourhood inspections? We inspect our neighbourhoods every 3 to 6 months. The inspections are attended by staff, local residents and other local partner organisations. It's a fantastic opportunity to talk about local issues and work together to improve the area.

  • AmicusHorizon secures funding from The Housing Finance Corporation!

    AmicusHorizon has secured a loan facility from The Housing Finance Corporation (THFC) funded by the European Investment Bank. The 30 year facility will provide preferential interest rates compared to the wider finance market. We are pleased THFC and the European Investment Bank are providing this facility as part of their support for sustainable, greener housing. We qualify for the funding by our own development of 267 new affordable homes, built to level 4 of the code for sustainable housing.
